Dr. Jamie Yurek
Dr. Yurek founded VetweRx Equine in 2011. He attended Ross university school of veterinary medicine and completed his clinical year at Colorado State University where he focused on equine lameness and medicine. Following school Jamie worked for Boulder Valley Vet for 2 years. He currently lives in Frederick with his wife Bethany, dogs Otis and Ella, and cat Cooper. He has a background competing cutting horses nationally and is very familiar with the western performance horse.

Dr. Grant Finley
Dr. Finley grew up working with horses and cattle on his family’s ranch in southern Missouri.  When he was fourteen, he showed his first cutting horse and was immediately hooked.  After managing the family ranch for ten years, he decided to combine his interests in performance horses with his career and returned to veterinary school at CSU. After a one year internship at Equine Sports Medicine in Weatherford Texas, he worked for four years in Columbia, Missouri before coming to VetweRx to join Dr. Yurek.  Dr. Finley, his wife Shelly, and daughters Isabella and Juliette are excited to be back in Colorado.

Dr. Aden Hardison
Dr.  Hardison heads up the new VetweRx Equine South division in the Parker area. She is originally from Jackson, Mississippi. Having loved horses since a little girl, she began working for an equine veterinarian in high school, and knew that was what she wanted to do for a living. She earned a BS in Animal Science and Technology with a minor in Business Administration at Louisiana State University in 2005. After graduating college, Dr. Hardison attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, located on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean. She completed her final year of clinical coursework at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma in January of 2010. Before moving to Colorado, she practiced in central Texas for five years. Dr. Hardison has also been certified in equine chiropractic and acupuncture. She has also taken a course in equine kinesiotaping. She enjoys almost all aspects of veterinary medicine whether its dentistry, reproduction, lameness, internal medicine or complimentary therapies.

When not working, Dr. Hardison likes watching LSU Tigers football and enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs Lexi and Finn.

Rachel Jones
Originally from Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, Rachel has been riding and showing hunter jumpers from a very young age.  She graduated from Appalachian State University in 2009 with a bachelors degree in technical photography.  After graduating she worked in North Carolina in the pharmaceutical industry for 3 years before moving to Colorado in 2012.  Rachel has a deep love of animals, especially horses and has always enjoyed putting a lot of time, love and effort into difficult horses that others may not.   When she is not around horses, she also enjoys skiing, kayaking and catching up on the latest movies.
