Get To Know Rachel Metz
Rachel has been part of the VetweRx Equine team since 2014 and has worn many hats throughout her time with the practice. In the early years, she was in the trucks with the vets full time as the practice's only tech. As the practice grew, her roles grew along with it.
She now manages the practice behind the scenes, handling everything from inventory, to managing our ever-growing staff, and anything in between. You may not see her at appointments much these days but if you find yourself at our clinic, you'll see her working hard to keep everything running smoothly for our clients, patients, and staff.
Originally from North Carolina, Rachel has been riding and showing hunter jumpers since she was 7 years old. She moved to Colorado on a whim in 2012 and never looked back. In her free time, you can find Rachel at the barn or at horse shows with her horse, Roman. When she's not at the barn, she enjoys playing golf with her husband, Brian, or hanging out at home with their Great Dane named Dexter, and Dexter's boss, Rudy the cat.
